MSc Professional Development (Applied Neuroscience in Organisations)

The Masters programme will be delivered virtually via the PDF Virtual Learning Platform through weekly lectures and bi-weekly tutorials. This allows agility and flexibility for busy professionals.

In the second year there is a streamed pathway that offers an in-depth application of neuroscientific principles along with work-based research in one of four areas of specialist interest: leadership; strategy and adaptive change; general business, marketing, and HR; and executive coaching.  It is intended that these specialist tracks will lead to the recognition by appropriate Professional bodies of the degree awarded.

Candidates for the MSc are not required to have a formal background education in biology, psychology or science; though candidates for the executive coaching option in the second year will be expected to be members of a recognised professional coaching body.  The whole MSc is especially designed to provide a rigorous foundation in applied neuroscience for all candidates through synthesizing new knowledge and making it available and accessible for use in organisations.  Candidates who have an up-to-date background in the neurobiological sciences may, if they so wish, apply for Course credits for approved prior learning; as may candidates who have completed the Association for Coaching’s Science of the Art of Coaching programme. This MSc replaces the previous PDF Masters (Neuroscience of Leadership).
